Creativity as a nervous system exhale
When life has been shaped by chronic symptoms, pain, anxiety, burnout, or stress for a long time, creativity can start to feel like something that belongs to another version of you: the version who had more energy, more spaciousness, more curiosity, and more access to play. But creativity does not have to mean making art. It does not have to mean being talented, original, inspired, or productive.
Sometimes creativity simply means giving your brain a different way to engage with the moment.

Does your brain spend a lot of time scanning for what's wrong?
Checking symptoms. Bracing for the next thing to go wrong. Predicting how hard tomorrow might be. Noticing every niggle and twinge, every small shift in sensation, and wondering what it might mean.
